Cincinnati BLOGS::How is the real estate market in the CINCINNATI,The Cincinnati real estate market has been slower than normal for the last 18 months or so. I expect that with interest rates where they are and probably falling further, that we should start to see some improvement in 2008. The downtown area of Cincinnati is awash with condominum projects that are either underway or on the drawing board, with some waiting until they get enough sales to break ground. Same with across the river into Northern Kentucky. There is a huge inventory of condos that are for sale. Starting in Covington, the Ascent, which is a beautiful new and exciting building, 22 stories high, has quite a few condos for sale, as well as a newer development called The Views, also under development with many units to sell. Going over to Newport, you have Southshore condominiums, that are quite nice, with a nice sized inventory of condos to be sold. Over in Bellevue, you have Harbor Greene condos, also very nice with a sizeable amount of inventory to be sold. I guess that as time goes on, hopefully our local economy will improve, and both Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky will see the rebirth of the riverfront as it was before the current economic slowdown. ..
